Did you know that if a sunflower isn’t able to see the sun, it will turn its face to other sunflowers in an attempt to get what it needs? That’s kind of what happens when we try to get what should rightfully come from God by trying to get it from other people, things or attitudes. Many of those things are good things meant to be symbols of God’s love, care and provision for us, but when we make them sources rather than God, we turn them from good things into destructive things.
